Jo Koy Montreal reviews
Great Show! But let’s talk seating….
Jo Koy is awesome! Make sure you watch his stuff online before you buy tickets cause he is SUPER honest if you know what I mean. But let’s talk seating…I bought tickets back in Spring right when it was announced. Bought aisle seats on the floor, - almost a straight on view. When we arrived the woman in the seat next to ours was sitting half or more into my seat (yes she was large and couldn’t fit into just one seat) so I was sitting more than crossed over sideways/ leaning on my hubby. No way sitting like that for 2-3 hrs. We didn’t ask her to move, we went about trying to get moved which Ticketmaster did move us to side of floor (not as good a view but ok). I was honest but nice to the women next to us that this wasn’t going to work. The woman with her suggested we give her the aisle and we take their seats (?) Uh No - I bought aisle seats for a reason. And they were not apologetic AT ALL and made no suggestion they should try to move. Not once did someone indicate SHE would need to move. Why is that? She was in my seat and I had to work at making things ok. (??) She needed to buy two seats or ask for handicap area if she is not able to fit - just like an airline. But there was NO intention on hers or Ticketmasters part to make her move. Again why is that? And what feels like a kicker is she basically ended up with our seats on the aisle anyway (so three seats for her) that I specifically bought for us/my husband. I don’t get it and I was NOT happy but luckily I have a laid back husband and he was just happy to be there and we had a good time cause of Jo Koy. If there’s not already a policy on this there needs to be. I promise you I was not an ass but I was not happy that no one stepped up to really make it right for us or to let the woman know she has to be realistic when purchasing tickets, etc.
